Who We Are
Onomea Federal Credit Union is a financial cooperative, owned by its members for their mutual benefit. Members pool their savings in order to provide loans and other financial services to each other. There are no outside stockholders or directors. The volunteer board of directors is elected by and from the membership. Any profits are returned to members in the form of better rates, lower fees and improved services.

A Brief History
Originally chartered in 1939 to serve sugar plantation workers, Onomea Federal Credit Union has evolved into a full-service institution meeting the financial needs of consumers from all walks of life.
